How does the hosepipe ban effect your used motorhome?

With the imminent banning of hosepipes across the country, confusion has arose as to whether a hosepipe can be used to fill the used motorhomes water tanks or look to facing the announced £1000 fine.

Due to the lack of rain in England during the winter months has left many of our reservoirs running worryingly low.  Now, with only a few days to go before the bans are imposed, many motorhome enthusiasts remain confused of what the restrictions cover.

The rules are confusing but here we attempt to explain what the restrictions are.  An official spokesman explained that the hosepipe ban will be in place for filling tanks on motorhomes but not for domestic things like cooking, washing and toilets.  So the law states that any water used in motorhomes must be for domestic purposes only or you will be liable  for a £1000 fine.

It is important to mention that these rules could change at any time before the restrictions are put in place. so it is best to consult your local authority for a clear explanation of their current rules.
